600W power module designed for 48V systems

Artesyn Embedded Technologies has a 600W quarter-brick isolated dc-dc converter which is capable of delivering up to 50A output current with a single fully regulated 12V output.

The converter can deliver up to 50A output current and have no minimum load requirement.

The ADQ600 series has an input voltage range of 40 to 60V and is primarily designed for use with standard 48V and regulated 48V supplies.

The supply has an open-frame design for forced air or conduction cooling and an aluminium base-plate option is available.

The conversion technology employs 175kHz fixed frequency switching to help minimise external EMI filtering requirements.

The open-frame models have an installed height of 11mm, while the baseplate versions require 13.3mm.
