ASE to create more than 6,500 jobs in northern Taiwan

With a new plant coming on line, more than 6,500 jobs will be created at Advanced Semiconductor Engineering's (ASE) manufacturing site in Chungli, northern Taiwan, chairman Jason Chang remarked during the company's year-end banquet recently.
