ARM Cores Take on PC Processors

ARM today announced a new processor, GPU, and IP suite targeted for mobile SoCs. The 64-bit Cortex-A72 processor, Mali-T880 GPU, and Cache Coherent Interconnect aim to usher in an era where mobile devices "serve as your primary and only compute platform."
