Worldwide large TFT-LCD panel supply area is anticipated to reach 136.7 million square meters in 2014, up 6% on year, according to MIC. Growth momentum is expected to come mainly from the additional production capacity of several new 8.5G lines, including the maximum level of production capacity expansion of China panel makers BOE and China Star Optoelectronics Technology (CSOT).
