State-run Taiwan Power Company (Taipower) has broken ground for a poject to build a PV power station with installation capacity of 100MWp at estimated total investment of NT$6.2 billion (US$212 million) in Changhua Coastal Industrial Park, central Taiwan, according to Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA).
