Taiwan-based automotive diode supplier Actron Technology is looking to enhance its insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) manufacturing technology and will not rule out overseas acquisitions of technologically leading makers of automotive IGBT components, while continuing to strengthen sales of high-performance automotive diode and power modules in 2018, according to company chairman Lu Ming-kuang.
