China December mobile communication user base grows to 1.417 billion

There were 1.417 billion subscribers of mobile communication services in China as of December 2017, increasing 0.52% sequentially and 7.23% on year, and 134.63 million (9.50%) of them were 3G users, 996.89 million (70.33%) 4G users and 1.272 billion (89.70%) mobile Internet-access users, according to China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
