AMEC wins patent lawsuit against Veeco subsidiary in China

A Chinese court has granted China-based Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment's (AMEC) motion for an injunction preventing Veeco Instruments' subsidiary in Shanghai from importing, manufacturing and selling MOCVD sets and related wafer carriers that infringe AMEC's patent, with the non-appealable injunction taking effect immediately, according to AMEC.
