Taiwan to undertake R&D and production of military aircraft

Taiwan's Air Force on February 7 signed with the Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology (CSIST), a research organization established by the government specifically for weapons R&D, to develop and locally produced 66 jet trainers, coded XT-5.
