Taiwan market: NCC asks CHT to lower IP peering fee rate

Taiwan's National Communications Commission (NCC) has asked Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) to consider lowering IP peering fee rate from NT$314 (US$9.86)/MB currently to NT$170/MB next year, a level close to the average of US$5.5/MB in the Asia Pacific region.
