Advantech cooperates with Socionext to offer VEGA series image encoding/decoding solutions

Industrial computing solution provider Advantech will offer image encoding/decoding solutions under the brand VEGA through a strategic alliance with Socionext, a Japan-based developer of SoCs for imaging and video systems. The solutions have applications for TV broadcasting, smart medical care, smart transportation, security surveillance and industrial purposes, according to Advantech.
