Proportion of notebooks for single-spindle models to rise significantly in 2017, say Taiwan makers

Based on notebook vendors' RFQ (request for quotation) for models to be launched in 2017, the proportion of 15-inch and above notebooks for single-spindle models without built-in optical disc drives (ODDs) will significantly increase on year, according to Taiwan-based notebook supply chain makers.
