Court in Germany issues injunction against Everlight Electronics due to infringement of Nichia YAG patent

The Dusseldorf District Court, Germany, has granted a preliminary injunction on sales of three white LED products in Germany requested by Japan-based Nichia. Nichia asserts that the producer of the products, Taiwan-based Everlight Electronics, has infringed Nichia's patent, EP 936 682 (DE 697 02 929).
