There were 1.316 billion subscribers of mobile communication services in China as of the end of September 2016, increasing 0.56% on month and 1.26% on year. 199.52 million (15.16%) which were 3G users, 685.89 million (52.11%) 4G users and 1.064 billion (80.81%) were mobile Internet-access users, according to statistics published by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
