Catcher gross margins return above 40% in 3Q16; EPS strongly impacted by exchange losses

Taiwan-based metal chassis maker Catcher Technology announced consolidated revenues of NT$20.73 billion (US$658.81 million) for the third quarter, up 18.3% sequentially and its highest quarterly performance in 2016. Thanks to new high-ASP products, as well as increased utilization rate, Catcher's gross margins rose to 42.6% in the third quarter with net profits reaching NT$4.47 billion, up 15.8% sequentially.
