Taiwan-based professional graphics card vendor Leadtek Research has been aggressively pushing into the medical electronics market during the past few years and has recently sent its newly developed wearable medical device to be certified by Taiwan's Ministry of Health and Welfare. The company expects hospitals in Taiwan will start adopting the device after the certification is finished at the end of November.
