FPD equipment spending surging, IHS says

Flat-panel display (FPD) equipment spending will rise 89%, hitting US$12.9 billion in 2016, according to IHS Markit. Increased spending levels will continue, reaching US$13 billion in 2017, then declining slightly to US$11.8 billion in 2018.
