Taiwan's July 2016 consumer price index (CPI) of 105.02 (2011 as base year) increased 0.22% on month and 1.23% on year, while the corresponding wholesale price index (WPI) of 84.87 dropped 0.57% on month and 2.41% on year, according to statistics released by the Directorate-General Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) on August 5.
