Motech posts 2Q16 profits

Solar cell maker Motech Industries has reported consolidated revenues of NT$8.844 billion (US$276 million), gross margin of 9.69%, operating profit of NT$440 million, net profit of NT$303 million and net EPS of NT$0.62 for second-quarter 2016, leading to consolidated revenues of NT$18.464 billion, gross margin of 12.14%, operating profit of 1.405 billion, net profit of NT$1.120 billion and net EPS of NT$2.30 for the first half of the year.
