GlobalWafers to acquire 100% stake in SunEdison Semiconductor

Semiconductor-grade silicon wafer maker GlobalWafers on August 18 announced that it has signed to acquire a 100% stake in US-based SunEdison Semiconductor for US$12 per share, 44.9% higher than the closing price on August 17.
