Epistar expands AlGaInP LED chip capacity via modifying blue-light equipment

LED epitaxial wafer and chip maker Epistar, in view of booming orders for AlGaInP LED chips since the second quarter of 2016, has been modifying MOCVD sets used to produce blue-light LED chips to produce AlGaInP LED chips, according to the company.
