Worldwide security software market grows 3.7% in 2015, says Gartner

Worldwide security software revenues totaled US$22.1 billion in 2015, a 3.7% increase from 2014, according to Gartner. Security information and event management (SIEM) remained the fastest-growing segment in 2015, with 15.8% growth, while consumer security software showed the sharpest decline at 5.9% on year.
