Although shipments of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) sensors used in automotive applications grew 8.4% in 2015, revenues were flat compared to the previous year reaching US$2.7 billion, according to IHS. The value of this market is expected to recover in 2016, rising 4.3% to reach US$2.8 billion.
