TruLight to begin shipping short-wavelength components for VR devices, cloud data centers in 2H16

TruLight, a maker of active components used in fiber-optic communications, expects to start shipping short-wavelength COB (chip on board) components for use in VR (virtual reality) devices and cloud computing data centers in second-half 2016.
