Global 1Q16 silicon wafer shipments increase on quarter, says SEMI

Worldwide silicon wafer area shipments increased during the first quarter of 2016 when compared to fourth-quarter 2015 area shipments according to the SEMI Silicon Manufacturers Group (SMG) in its quarterly analysis of the silicon wafer industry.
