Nanoelectronics research center imec has announced the opening of a new 300mm cleanroom. With this 4,000-square meter new facility, imec's semiconductor research cleanrooms now totals 12,000 square meters - one of the most advanced research facilities in the world dedicated to scaling IC technology beyond 7nm.
