TSMC spends NT$6.55 billion on equipment and facilities

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has announced several purchases of machinery equipment and engineering facilities for a total of NT$6.55 billion (US$197 million) from China Steel (CSC), Fu Tsu Construction, KLA-Tencor, Lam Research and Shihlin Electric and Engineering.
