Taiwan December CPI down on month, up on year, says DGBAS

Taiwan's December 2015 consumer price index (CPI) of 103.70 (2011 as base year) decreased 0.74% on month but increased 0.14% on year, while the corresponding wholesale price index (WPI) of 85.21 dropped 0.42% on month and 7.06% on year, according to statistics released by the Directorate-General Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) on January 6.
