Dowa Hightec, a Japan-based supplier of silver powder for making PV silver paste, has stopped production after an accident at its factory on January 5 and it may take more than one quarter to resume production, much longer than the two weeks to one month originally estimated by market analysts, according to industry sources in Taiwan.
