Contract chipmaker Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has purchased a batch of machinery and engineering equipment from Siemens Limited and ASML Hong Kong for a total of about NT$6.81 billion (US$208 million), according to a company filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE).
