Taiwan LED makers should develop invisible-light LEDs to avoid overcrowded market, says HPL chairman

Large-scale price completion from China-based makers in the visible-light LED market has caused product prices to keep falling, resulting in an overcrowded market, according to chairman Charles Wei for high-power LED packaging service provider High Power Lighting (HPL).
