Open-bid competition for 2,500-2,600MHz frequency bands available for 4G mobile communication operations on December 7 closed at a total bidding price of NT$27.925 billion (US$859 million), 93.92% over the total floor price of NT$14.40 billion, according to the National Communications Commission (NCC).
