HTC virtual reality business to take off in 2016, says chairwoman

Smartphone vendor HTC is poised to launch its first VR (virtual reality) device, Vive, in April 2016 and develop its VR platform, and will further develop augmented reality (AR) technology, marking 2016 as the initial year for HTC's VR business operations, according to company chairwoman Cher Wang.
