Asia pure-play foundries to generate combined US$40 billion in 2016, says TrendForce

Combined revenues of Asia-based pure-play semiconductor foundries are forecast to exceed US$36 billion in 2015, and top US$40 billion in 2016, according to a report from TrendForce. Asia-based foundries account for over 80% of global foundry revenues.
