AMD placed orders for 2-2.2 million USB 3.1 Host controller ICs with ASMedia Technology at US$2-2.20 per unit in the third quarter to bundle with its chipsets including 990FX and A88X. The orders accounted for 30.4-36.8% of ASMedia's third-quarter consolidated revenues of NT$432 million (US$13.2 million), according to industry sources.
