China Mobile 1Q14 profitability down on year

China Mobile, the largest mobile telecom carrier in China, on April 22 released its financial report for the first quarter of 2014, with EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, amortization) of CNY57.592 billion (US$9.44 billion), dropping 5.9% on year, and net profit of CNY25.244 billion, down 9.4%.
