Taiwan panel makers to lead Ultra HD TV display shipments in 2014, says DisplaySearch

Ultra HD TV display panels have become increasingly available and affordable to TV vendors, and Taiwan panel makers Innolux and AU Optronics (AUO) are forecast to lead Ultra HD TV panel shipments worldwide in 2014, according to DisplaySearch. The two companies are expected to have 58% of the market in 2014, followed by Korea-based makers (Samsung Display and LG Display) with 25%, and China-based makers (China Star Optoelectronics Technology and BOE) with 14%.
