Researchers at the Department of Energy (DOE)'s Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab) have managed to grow atomically thin 2D sheets of organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites from a solution. The ultrathin sheets are claimed to be of high quality, large in area, and are square-shaped.
